The first Dolby Atmos HE Studio we built. We’ve built quite a few since, including one more for the same client. The Dolby guys who calibrated the room were sufficiently impressed to recommend my services to several other clients.
The centre speaker is behind the acoustically transparent screen.
We also built 3 more ‘Production / Premix’ rooms above the main studio… Above pic shows a tiny Dolby Atmos Mix Room, missing the recommended spec by a few inches, because of the low ceiling height. Nevertheless, engineers have said that they sometimes prefer (pre)mixing most of their work in this tiny facility, because of the privacy and ‘directness’ of the sound.
